Started sixteen years ago by Dr. Randall Feingold, this annual event raises funds for the American Cancer Society’s life saving mission.

Dr. Lawrence Richard Glassman
Event Honoree
Dr. Glassman is an accomplished thoracic surgeon with extensive experience and a commitment to exceptional patient care. He completed his education at Port Washington, Schreiber High School, and Trinity College before attending NYU School of Medicine. Dr. Glassman received surgical training at reputable institutions, including the University of Minnesota and NYU.
His specialized training includes fellowships in cardiac surgery and research at the National Institute of Health, as well as thoracic oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering. Dr. Glassman completed full fellowships at NYU Medical Center, with rotations at Bellevue and Manhattan VA for general thoracic surgery. He also pursued a fellowship rotation in cardiothoracic transplantation at the University of Pittsburgh.
With over 13 years as an attending surgeon at NYU and Bellevue, Dr. Glassman has cared for numerous patients with thoracic cancers. He is Chief of Thoracic Surgery at Huntington Hospital, with interests in minimally invasive approaches and lung conservation procedures. Dr. Glassman is an active member of professional societies, including FACS and STS, and has published extensively in thoracic cancer care.
Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Glassman co-chairs the Northwell Thoracic Tumor Board and is involved in teaching residents and fellows. He is happily married to Jessica Weil for 32 years and has two daughters, Monica and Claudia.
Dr. Randall Feingold

Dr. Randall Feingold is a founding partner of New York Breast Reconstruction and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (NYBRA), Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell and Director of the Division of Plastic Surgery at St. Francis Hospital in Roslyn.
He specializes in aesthetic surgery of the face, nose, breast and body including explant surgery. He is a recognized expert in breast reconstruction with 30 years of experience in microsurgery.
